Head of Business Development
KEY PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
Bremont is seeking a commercially driven Head of Business Development to lead the expansion of the brand into new international markets while managing and growing existing key accounts and regional teams. This is a senior, high-visibility role combining new market development, strategic key account management of international teams and retail partners.
The successful candidate will be the primary architect of Bremont's international growth strategy, identifying and opening new markets, deepening relationships with major partners such as Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons and Ethos, as well as managing the relationship with Bremont's retail partner in Japan.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
New Market Development
Identify, evaluate, and prioritise new international markets for Bremont's expansion, based on market size, luxury watch demand, distribution landscape, and brand fit.
Develop market-entry strategies, including route-to-market (distributor, retail partner, flagship boutique, e-commerce), pricing positioning, and launch plans.
Build a pipeline of prospective distributor and retail partners in target markets; lead negotiations and onboarding of new partners.
Conduct competitor and market analysis to inform go-to-market decisions, in partnership with marketing and product teams.
Own the P&L and growth targets for newly opened markets.
International Key Account Management
Act as the senior relationship owner for Bremont's major international accounts, including Seddiqi (UAE/Gulf) and Ethos (India), among others.
Develop and execute joint business plans with key accounts covering sell-in/sell-out targets, product allocation, merchandising, marketing support, and training.
Negotiate commercial terms, annual targets, and trading agreements with key partners.
Monitor account performance (sell-through, inventory health, ASP, brand positioning) and take corrective action where needed.
Represent Bremont at key partner events, trade shows, and store openings.
Management of International Teams & Retail Partners
Provide leadership, direction, and target-setting for the Australia and Hong Kong teams, ensuring alignment with global brand strategy and commercial objectives.
Manage and support Bremont's retailer/distribution partner in Japan, including business planning, forecasting, and marketing coordination.
Set clear KPIs for regional teams and partners; conduct regular business reviews and provide coaching and support to drive performance.
Ensure consistent brand standards (visual merchandising, customer experience, service) are maintained across all managed markets.
Coordinate with regional teams on demand planning, inventory allocation, and local marketing activation.
Strategic & Cross-Functional Leadership
Contribute to the overall international commercial strategy and annual budgeting/forecasting process.
Partner closely with Marketing, Product, Supply Chain, and Finance to ensure market plans are properly resourced and executed.
Report regularly to senior leadership on market performance, opportunities, and risks.
Represent Bremont externally as a senior ambassador of the brand in international markets.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Experience
8–12+ years of experience in international business development, wholesale, or key account management, ideally within luxury watches, jewellery, or premium lifestyle goods.
Proven track record of successfully launching a brand into new markets.
Demonstrable experience managing major distributor/retail accounts in EU, the Middle East, Asia, or similar regions.
Prior experience managing remote regional teams across multiple time zones.
Existing relationships within the luxury watch trade (retailers, distributors, agents) are highly advantageous.
Skills & Attributes
Strong commercial and negotiation skills, with a track record of delivering revenue growth.
Strategic thinker with the ability to translate market analysis into actionable go-to-market plans.
Strong people-management and leadership skills; able to motivate and hold accountable teams not physically co-located.
Excellent relationship-building skills with an ability to operate at senior levels with partners and internally.
Comfortable with data, forecasting, sell-through analysis, P&L management.
Highly organised, self-directed, and comfortable operating with autonomy.
Willingness and ability to travel extensively and internationally (estimated 50%+ of time).
Fluency in English required; additional languages (German, French, Spanish) a strong plus.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT
Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours per week
Remote based in the UK or Switzerland, with extensive travel required
Working autonomously in location but as part of the wider Commercial team
Probation process 4 months standard
Notice period – 3 months

Presentation and final interview with hiring manager and senior manager onsite.
