Head of Business Systems
KEY PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
As a member of the Global Leadership Team (GLT), the Head of Business Systems is responsible for defining and delivering the organisation’s Business Systems strategy.
This role ensures that enterprise systems, data, and technology capabilities underpin Bremont’s growth strategy, operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and global scalability.
The postholder will also hold accountability for Bremont’s data protection strategy, and data governance frameworks across the organisation.
The role combines strategic leadership, operational oversight, transformation delivery, regulatory accountability, and team development.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Leadership
Actively contribute as a member of the Global Leadership Team, shaping strategy and organisational performance.
Define and deliver a multi-year Business Systems roadmap aligned to corporate objectives.
Advise the C-Suite and GLT on systems capability, digital investment, technology risk, and data protection exposure.
Ensure systems strategy supports international growth, operational scalability, and process excellence.
Champion innovation and continuous improvement across all functions.
Enterprise Systems & Technology Oversight
Provide overall ownership and accountability for core enterprise platforms
Ensure system integrity, performance, resilience, security, and scalability.
Oversee configuration, optimisation, enhancements, and lifecycle management.
Lead major system implementations, upgrades, migrations, and integrations.
Establish structured governance frameworks for change control, release management, and documentation.
Partner with the IT manager and external providers to run day-day IT operations, maintaining a practical hardware and lifecycle roadmap.
Oversee third-party technology vendors, contracts, and performance.
Data Protection
Ensure appropriate data retention, consent, and processing policies are implemented and adhered to.
Promote awareness and training across the organisation regarding data protection responsibilities.
Monitor and report on data breaches, ensuring appropriate investigation, documentation, and notification procedures are followed.
Ensure contracts with third-party processors meet regulatory and legal requirements.
Data, Reporting & Business Intelligence
Deliver a single source of truth reporting approach across the group with the roll out of Power BI.
Drive continuous improvement in data quality, automation, and reporting efficiency.
Transformation, Change & Project Delivery
Lead enterprise-wide systems transformation initiatives.
Implement group wide AI policy.
Ensure structured project governance, risk management, and change control processes are embedded.
Manage IT budgets, resource allocation, timelines, and return on investment.
Ensure system changes are effectively adopted and embedded across the organisation.
Governance, Risk & Compliance
Ensure systems comply with regulatory, audit, financial control, and internal governance frameworks.
Maintain strong cybersecurity posture and information security controls.
Identify and mitigate operational, financial, and technology-related risks.
Support internal and external audit processes.
Ensure documentation standards and policy frameworks are maintained and reviewed regularly.
Team Development
Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing Business Systems function.
Set clear objectives and measurable performance standards.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and service excellence.
Build succession capability and promote professional development within the team.
Ensure effective cross-functional collaboration across Finance, Operations, HR, and Commercial functions.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Essential Experience
Significant experience in a senior Business Systems or Technology leadership role.
Demonstrable experience delivering enterprise system implementations, system integrations and transformation programmes.
Clear understanding of the integration needs of finance, manufacturing and operations. Strong understanding of the order to cash process and controls.
Experience managing third-party vendors and contracts.
Knowledge of Priority ERP or similar mid-market ERP platforms (Dynamics 365/SAP B1 etc.).
Prior data stack ownership (data warehouse plus reporting tool).

Ability to translate complex technical and regulatory matters into clear business guidance.
Strong analytical and risk assessment capability.

Familiarity with IT service management methodologies (e.g., ITIL).
Desirable
Experience within manufacturing, supply chain, or luxury/consumer goods sectors.
Professional certifications (PRINCE2, PMP, ITIL).
Experience implementing enterprise cybersecurity controls or frameworks.
