Logistics Operative
KEY PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
As a Logistics Operative in the Logistics department at Bremont, you will be part of a team completing the daily operations to ensure the accurate and timely processing of all goods in and out of the business. The role includes a mixture of computer-based tasks and hands-on activities, such as preparing, packing, and moving stock. It is important to note that a portion of the role involves practical, physical tasks, alongside administrative and system-based responsibilities. You will work closely with other departments to ensure an efficient flow of goods is achieved.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The logistics team are required to complete the following tasks, with operators specialising in selected activities but able to complete all tasks to a basic level to support increased workloads or holiday/absence cover. Responsibilities include a blend of system-based work and hands-on tasks.
Pack and ship
Picking and fitting straps/bracelets to watch heads
Core watches and accessories
Military &Special Projects watches and accessories
Preparing packaging for despatch
Complete goods in
Retailer returns
Customer returns
Purchase order items
Operational Duties
Maintaining accurate inventory levels within Logistics, including both system updates and physical stock handling
Completing other business-critical External Logistics tasks
Assisting with inquiries from other internal departments in an efficient and professional manner
Keeping the Logistics area clean and tidy as part of daily housekeeping
Completing other duties relevant to the role as assigned by the Logistics Manager and Logistics Team Leader
Supporting other departments when required, which may include assisting with practical tasks
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Strong administration and computer skills, with the ability to use business systems accurately.
Comfortable carrying out hands-on tasks as part of day-to-day duties, including handling stock, preparing goods, and supporting practical logistics activities.
Honesty and integrity are hallmarks.
Careful attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
Able to communicate well, both orally and in writing, adapting to a wide range of people.
A hardworking and reliable attitude, able to work both autonomously and collaboratively.
